Elizabeth Bechtold, ext. 303 - Owner and CEO
- Elizabeth founded PLC in 1972 and has grown it into the premier
label expediting firm in the nation's capital. Her innovations
— including the first ever labeling conference, first software and
first training certification program — have helped thousands
of food industry members keep up with a never-ending flow of regulatory
change and have helped shape the future of food labeling.
Elizabeth's success in founding and managing Prime Label was celebrated
in a 1992 cover story of American Small Business magazine.
Susan Glenn, ext. 304 - Director of Regulatory Affairs
- Susan oversees all of the regulatory functions at Prime
Label along with heading up the Labeling Certification Program and
Nutrition Labeling Services. Susan started her food technologist career
at PLC and then moved to Texas. She was manager in charge of
Regulatory and Consumer Affairs and was Manager of Research &
Development for two subsidiaries of the Sara Lee Corporation. She
was also heavily involved in the local IFT and served as the Secretary,
Chair-Elect, Chair and Counselor.
Jennifer Heitz-Mumme, ext. 305 - Food Technologist
- Jennifer Heitz-Mumme holds a food technologist degree from the
University of Rouen and a food packaging degree from the University of
Brest. She joined PLC in 2000. In addition to playing a
major role in expediting USDA label approvals, Jennifer consults with
clients on problem labels and provides technical support on labeling
issues.
Celia Yau, ext. 306 - Food Technologist
- Celia Yau joined Prime Label Consultants in 2002.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Science and Technology from the University of Alberta.
In addition to playing a major role in expediting
USDA label approvals, Celia consults with clients on problem labels and
provides technical support on labeling issues.
Pat Yingling, ext. 301 - Office Manager - Pat joined
PLC in 2005 and is enjoying the challenges of handling her
wide array of customer and administrative responsibilities.
Fred Mosher, ext. 311 - Director, Software Development - Fred
Mosher is an independent computer contractor specializing in custom
software design for the PC market. He holds a B.A. from
Berkeley, and a B.S. and M.A. in Mathematics from the
University of Maryland. Fred began
his career in computers in 1983 and has designed software for
inventory control, customer database management, purchase order
processing, job cost tracking and analysis, billing, and financial
bookkeeping. Fred joined PLC in 1991 and has been designing expert
versions of EZ
Form ever since. Through his work implementing the new nutrition
regulations, he has become a leading expert in the field of
nutrient content claims and nutrition panel design.
